My name is Greg (Guan-Bai) Chen. I am an interdisciplinary Product Designer with a background in physical and digital product design. I enjoy creating intuitive user experiences using domain knowledge, such as 3D creation and hardware design. I am currently designing for Effect House, an Augmented Reality effect creation tool, at TikTok AR team.

I specialize in UX/UI of mobile and desktop product. I always ensure the experience between screens is seamless. Besides screen-based interactions, I am excited about XR technology and its application. My research was focused on XR wearable devices and multi-modal interactions at Carnegie Mellon University, where I obtained a Master's degree in Interaction Design in 2022.

I am also excited about the opportunities blockchain technologies enable, especially NFTs, Defi, dAPP, and web3.

When I am not designing, I love gardening, reading, traveling, photography, VR gaming, and patting my Shiba Inu.
